And the average gametime wind speed is among the top three in all of minor league/major league baseball. That said, it's still a hitter's park on calm days - just not as extreme. Rather, it it is because Lancaster is located just on the southern edge of the Mojave desert, and is incredibly dry, similar to Phoenix or Las Vegas. Gusts of wind are fairly common, but that is an extreme anomaly in the video. Just throwing this out there...
